1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoons nutmeg

1 teaspoon cooking salt

4 tablespoons olive oil

For sauce

1 handful shredded caraway

¼ teaspoons white sugar

½ cup steak sauce

1 cup chicken stock

5 tablespoons wheat flour

2 tablespoons sesame oil

For pasta

500 grams Fettuccine pasta

Makes:

4 servings

Procedure:

For lamb chops

Prepare fettuccine pasta according to direction on the package.

Season herring fillets with garlic powder, nutmeg and salt. Allow to stand for 10 minutes

Place saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil and heat

Transfer herring fillets to saucepan and sauté for 10 minutes on each side

Drain and set aside

For sauce

In the same saucepan, add sesame oil and heat

Transfer wheat flour, caraway and sugar into saucepan. Stir-fry for 3 minutes

Then add chicken stock and steak sauce and stir for 10 minutes until thick

Stir herring fillets and pasta into sauce and allow to simmer for 1 minute

Cooking Time:

50 minutes
